A Mathematics Specialist shares her thoughts on the challenges and rewards of supporting a school district's teachers. She describes the broad and far reaching my responsibilities that result in engagement with teachers, principles and parents. Most importantly, she describes the fulfillment in seeing improvement in how teachers make sense of students' mathematical understanding.
